Welcome to Cancun! 👋

 

Collect your luggage and proceed through customs.

 

As you exit the airport, many transportation companies will offer to drive you - avoid them and head outside.

 

⚠️Only go with prearranged Amstar Transportation employee holding the Bridge Elite sign.

 

They will direct you to your transportation to the hotel.  The bus ride will be about 45 minutes, so plan accordingly.

CATAMARAN DAY

Wednesday, May 1st @11:45AM

⚠️Buses leave at 12:00 pm. ⚠️  

 

Embark on a luxury sailing catamaran to discover remarkable offshore locations along the Caribbean coastline including one of the most impressive reefs in the Caribbean.

 

The catamaran will stop and those who wish to swim and snorkel will have the opportunity to do so! Lifejackets are provided and are required for every person who goes into the water.

This is an afternoon on the water. Food will be served on the vessel.  You will pick up your beach towel as you enter the bus. Don't forget your reef friendly sunblock!


Dress code: Resort Casual
Bermudas/board shorts, bathing suits, sneakers/tennis shoes and sandals.

 

✅You must wear a tee shirt, bathing suit wrap or cover-up for times when not actively engaged in water (bus, etc.).

 

Recommended to wear comfortable walking shoes and a change of clothes.

How do I get there?

 You will receive airline information with you flight arrangements.

Are vaccinations required for the trip?

No! There are no required vaccinations for participation in Bridge Elite.

Can you use an American plug in the resort hotel rooms?

Yes! You will not need an adapter or a different charger for use at the resort.

Can I bring kids?

No, this is an adults only resort. All guests must be 18+.

Do I need to bring sunblock?

Yes, there will be outside activities where Reef Safe sunblock would be a good idea!

What is included in the trip?

All activities listed in the agenda are included. Additionally, on-property restaurants and room service are covered by Bridge Elite. Any activities (both on/off resort) that are not part of an organized group activity are not covered by Bridge Elite. Food/drink that is off resort property and not part of a group activity are not covered by Bridge Elite. Gift and other merchandise shopping (both on/off resort) is not included in Bridge Elite.

Do I need to bring my own money?

Yes! It is recommended you bring some methods of payment for activities or items that are not included on the trip (see previous question). VISA cards are the most highly recommended type of card. You can pay in USD cash, however, please expect you may not receive USD in return.

Do I need a passport?

 All employees and guests will need a valid passport to attend this trip. 

Should I leave extra room in my suitcase?

Yes! You can anticipate you will receive some gifts at Bridge Elite that you will want to leave space for in your bags. If your bag is packed FULL on the way there, you may not have enough room for all your items. Pack accordingly

Will I be responsible for paying for my own checked luggage

Those who wish to be reimbursed for their checked luggage may submit a receipt to fili@bridgelocations.com by May 30th. The reimbursement will be on the paycheck of the Bridge Locations employee.

Are there excursions available?

You can choose to go on an excursion at your own expense.  The best option will be to go through Amstar.  Visit the Amstar desk in the lobby of the hotel.  If you are wanting to go on an excursion, book those early in the week! Checkout what there is available!

Are there dress codes at the resort? YES!

Casual: bermudas (long shorts or capri pants), sneakers/tennis shoes and sandals. Ladies must wear a bathing suit wrap or cover-up. No sleeveless shirts for men. Casual Elegance: sneakers/tennis shoes or dress sandals, dress shirts with short sleeves or collared shirts. No sleeveless shirts or flip-flops. Long pants required for men. Beach Casual: swim trunks, bathing suits and flip-flops accepted. Formal Men: long pants and collared shirts; dress shoes. Formal Women: blouses, skirts, slacks or dresses; dress shoes. Daytime Casual: bathing suit cover-ups or shorts and tops and sandals required. Resort Casual: bermudas (long shorts or capri pants), sneakers/tennis shoes and sandals. Ladies must wear a bathing suit wrap or cover-up. No sleeveless shirts for men. Pool Casual: bathing suits allowed. Cover-up and sandals (or flip flops) preferred. Please look up each restaurant to see the specific dress code.
